Jamie Lidell - Rope of Sand

The wind don't care which way it's blowing
So where are you going
Time to give up
Time to give up knowing
Your shoes don't care which way they're going
So who are you following
Time to give up
Time to give up tiredness

So many things I don't understand
But there's one thing I know
When everything is a rope of sand
We should be learning to let it go

Don't wanna win
Don't wanna lose
So where does that lead you
Trying to give up
Trying to give up trying
The games don't care if you see right through them
So who are you fooling
Time to give up
Time to give up playing now

So many things I don't understand
But there's one thing I know
When everything is a rope of sand
We should be learning to let it go

What happens when you let it go
Does it cause a crumbling fold ?

Events and why everyone is always doing them wrong

The single most important thing about writing an event is making people care. Regardless of how well written it is or interesting it may be by the advanced description, no one with the exception of people who either hate or love you will care unless the basic and medium descriptions give them reason to.

It's debatable whether or not the medium or basic description is more important, but together they serve as the basis for creating event RP. song lyrics, or some blogging sites. The biggest change this makes is that people may feel inclined to comment on
character pages. Special pages still have seperate talk pages.

Message Wall

These have replaced the talk pages on user's profiles and function much the same way as the comments do on normal
pages, but have fields for subjects and such.

These changes should hopefully make commenting in general more organized and less dependant on people's ability to be consis…

Assuming administration of the Buffymud Wiki

So, Lance has been gone practically since the wiki went up and we've been without an administrator all that time. Fortunately there hasn't been anything to moderate or otherwise deal with admin wise all that time, but I've always been a little insecure about everyone putting a lot of work into something we don't have much control over. So as I was looking over the wiki and how to improve various pages, I decided to start reading some of the help that goes along with this site and stumbled upon a method of regaining control. A couple days ago, I posted to the wikia admins that we've lost our admin and I'd like to take his place and though my contributions are good, they want to make sure that the active community supports my stepping into t…

Mister Reroll and the Czar of Character Creation has arrived.

I've caved and decided to help out with the Wikia, and, at the same time, test out the blog thing. I'll be correcting (small so far) things as I see them needing to be corrected.
