The son of a Spanish teacher and a mechanic, Luke lived a decidedly middle class lifestyle in El Segundo, California.<span style=""> </span>For the most part, he was a typical American teenager with slightly above average grades and a strong talent for athletic endeavors.<span style=""> </span>Nothing out of the ordinary occurred until he moved to Sunnydale.

Luke moved to Sunnydale in late January 2016 during his freshman year.<span style=""> </span>This is when he encountered his first demon and fortunately, survived with a lot of luck.<span style=""> </span>Since then he has tried to catch up to the big named demon hunters hoping to make up the lack of his supernatural talent with weaponry and hard work.
