The son of a Spanish teacher and a mechanic, Luke lived a lower middle class lifestyle in El Segundo, California. For the most part, he was a typical American teenager with slightly above average grades and a strong talent for athletic endeavors. Nothing out of the ordinary occurred, as far as the supernatural goes, until he moved to Sunnydale, California.
Luke moved to Sunnydale in late January 2016 during his freshman year. This is when he encountered his first demon and fortunately, survived with a lot of luck. Since then he has tried to catch up to the big named demon hunters hoping to make up the lack of his supernatural talent with weaponry, training and a lot of hard work.
